The
vision for Pradera is as much about what is preserved
as what is developed. With less than half of Pradera's
1,500 acres becoming home sites, open space remains at
the heart of Pradera, just as Mother Nature originally
designed it. A portion of this open space features a
Jim Engh-designed 18 hole golf course that embraces the
indigenous terrain and incorporates the existing landscape
and native vegetation into its character. Residents will
appreciate the beauty, tranquility and spirit of these
Irish-inspired, prairie-style modern links winding through
the community. The experience at Pradera is a sense of
balance that feels "just
right".
The Club at Pradera is a private
golf club nestled in a gentle 1,500-acre hillside in
Douglas County. Pradera course designer, Jim Engh, a
four time Golf Digest Best new Course Award winner and
their 2003 Course architect of the year, has created
one of the most unique golf course designs anywhere.
A nature blend of traditional "Irish
links" and what Jim calls "Modern" holes,
all surrounded by the natural beauty of Pradera, make for
an adventurous round of golf. Golf members enjoy unlimited
play on the golf course, and use of the 29,800 square foot
Clubhouse, Fitness Center, Tennis Courts, Lounge, Indoor
and Outdoor Dining.
