Baker
is one of Denver’s oldest neighborhoods. Baker
is a beautiful neighborhood, with fine old homes, many
of them built more than 100 years ago, but now starting
to be remodeled and updated to today’s standards.
The neighborhood is locked between major intersections
(Broadway andf I-25 on the east and west, and 6th Avenue
and Mississippi on the north and south), giving easy access
to get to other parts of the city. The neighborhood is
also walking distance to boutique shops, hip restaurants
and nightlife.
Old world and new world mix in this up and coming neighborhood.
Wonderful Queen Anne and Victorian homes are sprinkled
all over Baker District. A brand new development called
Watermark, designed by world renowned architect Curtis
Fentress, adds to this wonderful community and will be
available in the Summer of 2007.
